The article talks about a development
of new lenses that can stop the deterioration of the vision and probably recuperate
the vision of the elderly people.
These lenses will be made of a
liquid called crystal and could be implanted by a surgical procedure in the
eye. This object will be able in 10 years more a less.
I think it’s a good discovery
because with the years everybody has sight problems. I think the problem of
this invent will be the price, so I imagine not everybody will be able to pay
it. Also I believe that lot of the vision problems that people has are because
of the screens of the phones, televisions, computers… so sight problems are not
going to stop. Finally I have to say that science always surprise me with
invents that even I didn’t imagine.
With the new technology,
nowadays in our society everybody is able to take
photos. The point that I want to talk about is this new and stupid necessity in
our society of losing time taking photos.
In my opinion
this urgency of taking photos or videos of things, persons, events… is a way to
keep forever this moments. Is normal that people want to keep in his memory
things, to then months or years later remember them. So, you should be asking
what is wrong with that.
I will put an
example to explain it. Imagine that you record a video where your friend is
blowing candles, and then 10 years later you see it. In this moment you won’t
be remembering a moment, you just will be imagining how it was. Why? Because while
your friend was blowing the candles you, instead of were living this moment,
you were recording for live it in the future.
Is very sad to
see how people in celebrations, events… are all the time with his phones or
cameras taking photos or videos to show this moments to other people or just to
see it later… Is a waste of time because at the end, all you will have done
will be doing things for the future, and in the future be “remembering” the
past.
And what about
the present? Nobody let a place for it.

This article is a criticism about some comments of a chief
executive of a company. This company was looking for candidates for a job, and the
executive during an interview did a sexist and offensive comment: ‘How are we
supposed to hire her, did you see what she was wearing and the size of her?’ Of
another: ‘She is ugly and overweight and I only employ beautiful women.’
Then Amanda Platell defend the plump women, and says that this is not
unhealthy or bad looking, and put
examples of largest ladies who are loved
by millions like Adele. Finally says that very few women remain slender for
life.
I totally agree with this news. I think that too much people have a lot
of prejudices and a closed mind about how women have to be. Society shows
stereotypes of ladies but this doesn't mean that all the ladies have to be like
this. Also, the physic is just the exterior of a person, and the valuable part
is inside. Every woman has the right to be as she wants to be, and nobody has
to criticism someone for that.
There are a lot of places in
Spain where bullfighting is practiced. This is traditional and normal for a lot
of Spanish people. Now I’m going to
expose my opinion about this tradition.
I think that is very embarrassing
that people could enjoy seeing this animal mistreatment. It’s sad that people
one Saturday or Sunday afternoon have nothing more interesting to do, with the
lot of activities that today we have in our reach, that going to see this
miserable spectacular. And if that wasn’t enough they have to pay to see it!
Is grievous that someone has
to see an animal suffering to have a good time, this says a lot of a person. And
then if one of the bulls hurt a bullfighter everybody cares about the human
life but what about the bull life?
I've always liked reading. When I was younger I used to read every night, I loved fantasy books and I was always reading again the same books. Now I enjoy reading too and I usually read when I have time….
I really don’t understand people who don’t enjoy reading. I think are like kids that doesn’t like vegetables and it’s just because of their color or because they haven’t taste.
It’s true that when you see a book, you just perceive a lot of paper full of different combinations of 27 letters that has alphabet, and could seems bored. Also, there are teenagers that the only books that they have read are the obligation school books, so it’s normal that if these books didn’t like that they say “I don’t like reading”.
So for me the explanation of why people don’t like reading is because they haven’t find yet the kind of book that they probably enjoy.
Finally I would say that I think reading is a good way to learn, discover new things and points of view, live experiences, and also of course a way of entertainment.

I choose these article because I was looking for information about Black Friday and when I found it I thought this was very interesting. Is curios because I think is all a deceit. They want you to believe the price is lower when 2 days ago they raised for then in Black Friday put them lower. Also there are many discounts not for all the things but for limited things. So it’s a good opportunity if you want to buy some things but you have to be careful.
Now that we have
closer Christmas I would talk about a thing that every December I saw; the
Christmas lights. I could talk about how beautiful they are and how makes the
city more Christmas, but I can’t because the only thing I can think when I see
that is …how many hypocrisy!
Christmas is
theoretically the time where we have to be more generous, grateful…. Instead of
that, next to the shops where we are buying a lot of presents, there are poor
people asking for money, and seems nobody takes care about that. Also all these
shops are full of light for a boost to make people buy more, in other words for
interest. So where is the nice part? In addition all the streets are filled of colorful
lights, lighted during days… how many money they spend with all this lights?
They probably
don’t think that in another parts of the world there are children that can’t
celebrate it, and if we pay attention
there this children in our city too. So If I be the Mayor one year I will
suggest to instead of spending all this money in this beautiful Christmas
light, they use this money to buy food and clothes to the mans who are next to
this shops asking for money.
But seems
nobody has thought in this choice… people only see what they want to see, it’s
easier.
During all my
years at school i have been having very different teachers. Teachers with different
ways to teach, different ways to evaluate, so different types of exams. Some of
them I’m not agree with, so now I’m going to expos my opinion.
The exams I am talking about are these exams
that seem endless and impossible, which seems his objective is make you fail.
It doesn’t matter if you have studied a lot during days an hour and you know
all, because when arrives the exam you can’t prove all you have learnt. Why?
Because there aren’t enough time so you have two choices; first one, you write
very fast, missing things, forgetting about spelling… or the second one, you
just try to do some of the exercise the best you can.
In both cases
you probably won’t have the mark you deserve. This is how they motivate us.

The topic of
supernatural power is not new; there are a lot of faction films and books that
talk about it. So now I’m going to expos my opinion.
If I had to
choose a supernatural power, that will be the mind-reading ability. I know a lot of people would say
other superpowers like the ability to fly, maybe the immortality, the
invisibility, to be the strongest person of the world…
Honestly I
think all this supernatural abilities are nothing deep or useful. We are who we are because we think and we
have personality, and one of the vital functions is the relation so in my
opinion the best superpower will be the mind-reading ability. I think that you
really know people when you know their thoughts, motivations, fears… Everybody
is different and unique, so that is quit impossible.

so I truly like to have this ability. This
will be useful for the evolution of this science and to help people.

In this part, the chorus, is when we can see the revel part of the song.
Here, the man says that althought the father refuses the idea, the boy will marry her anyway with or without his blessing. Also says that he don't care about the father says and insult him saying he is rude.
